0,5l bottle dated 02 05 23. Pours a rich amber color and drinks rich, with sweet, sugary malt perfect for the cooler nights of November in southern Germany. On the heavier side, caramelized sweetness, and slightly spiced. Most “Weihnachtsbier” are just heavier examples of styles a brewery already makes, but this is unique. A true holiday ale and a great sipper in winter.

lots of fine bubbles can be spotted in the copper not too clear body with a white fine bubbled head of 2 fingers that is stable and leaves some lacing
Smell is bready from the malts and yeast aroma typical for unfiltered lager beers, nuts as well
taste follows nose with bready nutty malts, bitterness is balancing, the hop
smooth body from the yeast, on the more substantial side regarding the beer style and the ABV
Very nice Festbier with nice malt complexity and a smoothness and fullness while still being refreshing that can only be found in unfiltered lagers.
