0,5l bottle dated 15 02 23. I think the current average (3.54) is low for this beer. It’s a classic Pilsner with great flavor and drinkability. Would order any time and look forward to having it on draft at the brewery in Böblingen.

Highly approachable, low offense and easy on the palate, the pilsner of Schonbuch is built as a proper but no frills option for the beer drinker that simply wants to turn their brain off without compromising quality.
Simply named Schonbuch Pils, the light straw and sparkling lager opens with a frothy, loose cap and a mild aromatic bouquet of wildflower, honeysuckle and a hint of grain. A malty taste is equally light and shares a scant taste of fresh baking bread.
As the flavors splash the middle palate, its malt presence relaxes even more and the hop spice rises to a pinpoint balance of herbal and botanical grasses bring a flavor pop to the otherwise grainy-sweet beer. A late palate of hop spices continue to take and edge off of the malt sweetness and light starchy textures for a light but balanced taste right down to the last drink.
Light in body, the beer's lightness in taste adds to the simplicity in texture as well. A light minty finish has an evaporative cooling effect on the throat and acts as a thirst quenching option to a long day and great conversation with friends.
