Fresh, light taste with a mild malty aroma and a subtle hop flower. Brewed with the best regional raw materials based on a centuries- old original recipe - according to the German Purity Law. I guarantee that.

Picked up a sixer of 0,33l bottles at the Edeka in town while grocery shopping for less than €1/bottle. Unlike the Kaufland down the street, Edeka sells one of the finer local brewery offerings (Schönbuch is over in Böblingen) in the Stuttgart area. Bottle label has a date of 21.06.23. Don’t know what “Horst” means and how it’s different from a traditional Helles but I’m here for it. I’m always open to trying new versions of this style and this one certainly doesn’t disappoint. Rich, yeasty, malty flavor and body. A heavier Helles compared to most, this is a hearty, tasty brew. Delicious!
