Pours a black color. 2/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of English hops, sweet malt, hint of oatmeal, hint of hops, and alcohol. Fits the style of an American Double / Imperial Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of alcohol, sweet malt, English hops, hint of oatmeal, hint of liquor, and slight wood. Overall, great appearance, good blend, good body, but weaker aroma.
