On nitro tap at the brewery in Solano Beach. Surprised to see a blonde ale on nitro, but it did wonders for the look and feel. The pour was hazy golden with a large, creamy, off-white head. Unusual full but speckled lacing pattern is left on th glass.

Aroma: blackberry wit.

Flavor: mild but good. Would prefer both the fruit and malts at higher levels, but then this is a blonde ale.

Feel: Smooth, light body with high-medium but very soft carbonation.

A mildly bitter beer like a pale ale but with medium to light body.
The aroma gives off a slight fruity smell.
Taste is a bit fruity also but not sweet like I was expecting from the smell.
I gave it a little bump in the overall score for originality!

On tap at the tasting room in Solana Beach. This is Culture's Blonde with Brewer notes this is make with Helga hops and rates it at 22 IBUs. They say it is brewed with black currant tea, which seems weird to me, but the taste is great, whatever part of the plant they put in tea.

Beautiful hazy golden with a cap of creamy foam in the snifter. An unusual and thirst quenching choice for the nitro tap. Really nice fruity flavor with a tangy mouthfeel. A little sharp, with the buttery malt and berry taste. Distinct bitterness that's more like seeds and tannins than hops. Still, there's a resiny tang.

Some interesting nuttiness and that whiff of blackberry jam. A great addition to the lighter, summery quaffs. Right on the Utah supermarket mark at four percent-- we have another low ABV winner!
