On tap at Mohawk Bend in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, citrus zest, and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is quite earthy in the flavor for a citra hop beer.
Serving type: on tap.

One of the sudsier and more attractive brews from Culture. Poured from the 32 oz growler into a Saint Martin tulip. More amber than golden in color, and a little on the hazy side. Long lasting foam that clings to the glass.
The Citra hops are modestly fruity with a nice orange aroma. A little sharp, but the malt comes through nicely. Moderate bitterness. This version of the Session IPA is the most drinkable to me. I'd have to say this is one of the best lower-alcohol IPAs I've tried.
