A light moderately tart and easy drinking ale not dissimilar to peekskill simple sour but with more light fruit flavors. I get some apple and stone fruit along with light crackery malt. Hint of sweetness and soft but prickly carb along with low abv makes this a great session beer.

This is my idea of a wild ale. Sudsy, fruity, and tangy. Not a whiff of vinegar. Light and just slightly sweet. Big foam, pinkish and amberish color. Hints of orange and plum, but light. What a pleasant mouthful. Sharpish fruity nose.
Thirst quenching. I'm looking forward to trying more of these wild yeast offerings from Culture. I think they know what they are doing. On tap at the Solana Beach brewery.

On tap at Culture Ocean Beach. Get me out of Ocean Beach. This is hell. Nice tasting room, though. This is a sour made with cherries, apples, and grapes. It's kind of pink tinged orange with a small white head. Slightly musty aroma with a whisper of tartness. Wonderful blend of apple, grape, and cherry. Somewhat cider-like. Lots of apple and grape skin. The flavor is a fruit explosion, with intermingling fruit notes of apple, cherry, and grape. It's not really sour, just mildly tart. I think it would be more accurate to call it a tart or fruit beer, but no matter. The fruit is juicy and as the beer warms the piquant combination of tartness and fruit sweetness is mouth-watering. Has a cider-like quality and is eminently drinkable. Every aspect of the fruit character is outstanding. Great beer.
