Clear amber brew with plenty of white foam in the Ommegang chalice. Tangy but not overly acidic. Quite sudsy and lively in the mouth.
Rather malty with a sweet shortbread note. Just enough of the spicy and bitterish rye taste. Not as grainy as some rye brews. Very clean and drinkable with enough bitter aftertaste to please the IPA fan. From the 32 oz growler filled today at the Ocean Beach tasting room.

Very nice rye IPA. clean, good slightly reddish color, little malt, moderate rye flavor. Body light, which I prefer. Head a bit thin. Overall really enjoyed this beer.
