April 5th, 2016 - This Triple IPA is a dark caramel color, which seems odd, but might be an effect of the lighting. The smell is sweet, and like a caramelized sweet onion, and deep and warming. The flavor is also great - lovely and deep, but also rounded and soft like a freshly made flan. That flan and caramel persists throughout the flavor, and bounces lazily on the body. And in the aftertaste I detect some apple juice and pear juice for a nice, sweet finish.

On tap at Ocean Beach location.
Pours a near clear bright golden with half finger slightly off white head.
Aroma pine, citrus, but also a hit of dankness and just a tad sweaty - notes of caramel malt.
Taste is malty - bit of sweetness - but with piney notes, flavours of ripe orange, mango - bitterness is there but balanced nicely by malty sweetness.
Medium full mouthfeel - sweetness shines over mild bitterness - carbonation moderate. Boozy but frankly would have guessed less than the 10.0%. Most delicious.
