At the brewery in Solana Beach. A bit darker with a relatively low IBU. It was very disappointing. Tasted like an early stage home brew venture. Not as easy to make a good beer when you can’t just load it with hops eh?

On tap at the brewpub in Solana Beach. Brewer lists this at 43 IBU.
Fruity and hoppy light beer. Served in a tall tulip. Hops and more hops seem to be the character. Thin body with a resiny tang. The perfumey taste is interesting, like a bigger sort of Kolsch. A pleasing flavor as well as aroma of Cascades.
As flavorful as this is, I find it too bitter to finish, so if you groove on West Coast IPAs, consider that a strong recommendation. This would probably be better categorized as an IPA to my taste, but that's San Diego County for you. For some reason in my notes the next line is "Buy Baja from the Mexicans." That's the power of hops for you!
