A bottle picked up from a tiny greengrocer in the brewery's home town of Llanidloes, Wales. Pours black as Coke with no head. Aroma is roasted, some coffee and liquorice. Taste is moderate sweet, roasted coffee and dry bitter liquorice, smooth light Watery mouthfeel , still a very good stout, on the sweeter side.
