PKGD 04/22/21.
Appearance: Pours a hazy, soft yellow-hued body with a voluminous, foamy, white head. Meager lacing.
Smell: Gooseberry atop juicy, fresh-cut citrus fruits smelling of lemon-tangerine-lime, stonefruit and light minty herbs. Seems to be a smooth blend of light barley, maybe pils with some rustic raw graininess.
Taste: Sweetish, silky coarse graininess from a blend of raw grains adjoined to a light, lean, otherwise clean malt bill. A citrusy 'pop' awaits followed by a bit of peach, melon, gooseberry and hyssop. Relatively light bitterness. Encroaching, warming alcohol hint atop the cushiony, frothy finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-soft carbonation. Cushioned mouthfeel.
Overall: Not a bad contemporary IPA, if a bit beefy alcoholwise (can currently states 7.6%).
