We reimagined this juicy supergiant from the ground up, starting with a new hop blend of Saaz, Eclipse, Super Sauvin, Galaxy, Neslon CGX & Citra! Now a Double IPA, its fruit-fueled hop profile is complemented by a bright citrusy acidity, rounded resinous character, and silky, soft mouthfeel. Perfect for a dark night of sky-gazing…or a sporadically dark afternoon (if you happen upon one).

Crowler poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Zesty juicy citrus, ripe exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, resinous pine, grassy pure green hoppy goodness, a hint of Southern Hem diesel, biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Bright juicy zesty citrus, tangerine/mandarin orange, grapefruit, lime, and lemon, exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, passion fruit, gooseberry, pineapple, mango, peach, apricot, and white grape, resinous pine, a little Southern Hem Diesel, subtle herbal notes, a touch floral, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, somewhat soft on the palate with a very mild hop burn.
O: Grabbed a crowler of this on our Eclipse road trip and have been too busy to crack into and share it until now. I'm more than stoked with how well it's held up. You coulda told me it was brewed last week.
Honestly, this might be the best beer of the trip and will probably be on my short list of favorites of the year. Fantastic hop combo, intensity and complexity. Impressively bright and refreshing for a DIPA.
