An amalgamation of island inspired ingredients, infused with sweet pineapple, sour sop and tangerine, are front and center on this next foray into a fruited IPA. Built upon a pillowy base of pils and oats, we’ve layered in large additions of hand-selected Lotus, Citra and Azacca hops, resulting in a dangerously drinkable Double IPA drenched in vacation vibes.

4 pack tall boy from the Round Rock location.
Appearance: Opaque yellow, big points there, hold a thin froth of white head that laces a bit.
Aroma: Pineapple, at arms length, specifically, juice. There's a little almost mint hop note, but, really it's just pineapple juice.
Taste: Juicy, a bit more tropical than just pineapple, a bit Hawaiian Punch, a bit acidic, with a minor seltzer water background that hints at beer.
Mouthfeel: Chonky, heavy body triggers a chew, rough texture, not quite pulp, but down that road. Acidic burn in the finish.
Overall: Big fruit beer. Hard to get that balance right to let the beer flavor come through, I think they decided they like pineapple juice, screw beer flavor. I'm strangely ok with this, as the fruit comes across as fresh and bold, almost refreshing but it's a big drink. A slight ding in score but I'd get this again. It was expensive, but they didn't go light on ingredients so I'm ok with it.
