One of the core principles within our brewing program is to “know your hop farmer.” Building a relationship with those who provide us with the premium agricultural products to produce delicious beers is a paramount goal of ours when we visit the hollowed valleys of Yakima, Washington.
With that, we’re proud to have welcomed Ben & Kaity from Black Star Ranch to Austin in late February! Ben provided us with beautiful lots of 2022 crop cryo® alongside our selected Simcoe & Citra BSR hops to eventually pour a proper west coast influenced Cold IPA in your glass. We’re getting smooth sippin’ notes of papaya and grapefruit throughout each pint of this one.

16oz canned 5-15-25 and opened 6-1-25.
2 finger white head with short retention. Yellow gold body with a touch of early chill haze. Spotty lacing.
Expressive, hoppy nose...tropical and New Zealand-y with some of the requisite zestiness associated.
Zesty lime and kiwi, all aroma/flavor hops - not much beneath or beyond that.
Light body with moderate carbonation. Drying across the tongue. Quick finish, seems a little quick and lean in the finish.
They're rolling out IPA after IPA...
Good.
