We’ve linked up with Vinnie Cilurzo and the legendary Russian River Brewing Company crew! Introducing Coastal Cool, a clean, clear India Pale Ale.
Inspired by our mutual love of Simcoe, this decidedly West Coast IPA showcases both Russian River and Pinthouse selected lots of Simcoe. Built upon a clean canvass of premium Pilsner malts, Coastal Cool features a mix of Simcoe six ways selected from our friends Yakima Chief Hops. Including- T90 Pellets, Cryo Hops, Whole Leaf, IQF “Fresh Frozen” Whole Cone, YCH 301 “Fresh Frozen” Cryo Hops & the latest, YCH 702 flowable extract.
Additions of Mosaic & Riwaka CGX meld with this medley of Simcoe hop products creating layers of lupulin laden aromas and character reminiscent of resinous citrus, bright fruit with a decidedly dank profile and snappy finish.

On tap at the brewery. Light orange color with a thin layer of white head. Smells of citrus. Medium body. Citrus hop flavor. Good, though nothing really stands out and it was very similar to the previous IPA I tried.
