Part of the on going effort to support the local breweries - at least by Texas standards. Excellent imperial stout. Poured from tap into a snifter. Great head and lacing. Smell and taste of dark chocolate and dark berries. A bit of cola. Enjoyed it very much!

A solid, highly drinkable imperial stout with a smoothness uncommon in such a high ABV beer. This is not a top shelf version of the style but above average and one of my favorites at Pinthouse. Another unnamed beer website has an average ranking of almost 4 for this beer. I think that a little high but we'll let you be the judge if you are fortunate enough to make it to Austin and sample the Pinthouse brews and pizza.
