Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours red amber with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and floral hops, decent grain. Tastes of sweet grain with decent citrus hops. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, an above average beer.

Very dark copper body, does not look like a pale ale in the slightest. Sticky, foamy white head sits on top. Toasted malts, a dash of grass and a slight hint of fruit. Slightly metallic taste gives way to some grainy malts and a dash of pine. Not much in the way of malt or hops. Feel is very water with prickly carbonation. Not a great aftertaste either. Overall, not what I think of when I hear "pale ale" and not a great beer in general.

S: Slight cascade hops, slightly grassy, caramel malt, little citrus notes
L: Dark amber, crystal clear, white head that dissipates
T: Caramel malt up front with some light grapefruit. Medium, leafy hops with a touch of herbalness. Very smooth sweetness with a touch of leafy hop flavor. Finishes fairly dry with residual hop flavor.
M: Medium bodied, medium carbonation
Pretty mediocre, hops are pretty subdued, not too exciting.

This does not look or taste like an APA. There is an overabundance of caramel malts in this. Not balanced very much.
Brewery description: Slightly roasted with hints of citrus, this nuanced ale offers mellow, distinct flavors working in perfect harmony. But don’t let the delicate proportions fool you, this sophisticated brew is no lightweight.
