11.2oz bottle bb November 2022 poured into a snifter at fridge temp 9.5% ABV 45 EBU per label. The beer pours dense black with mocha brown head. The head recedes slowly to a thin cap and leaves some splotchy lacing. The aroma is baker's chocolate and Belgian yeast. The taste is semisweet chocolate, dark (nearly ashy) roasted malt and coffee with a slightly sweet, yet dry, finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and adequately carbonated. Overall, very good. More stout that anything else, the additives (orange peel, raisins & brown sugar) and Belgian yeast make it unique and complex. It really starts to open up as it warms.

From creamy and sweet to hints of coffee and chocolate, then to a long dry bitter and sweet aftertaste.
