Milk stout. The lactose gives a mouth feel that is incredible. Slight smell. Excellent on nitro. Slightly sweet taste. Looks much darker than most

Enjoyed from the growler via Jungle Jim's in a snifter. This FINE sweet stout pours a blackish brown with a moderate head of khaki foam that dissipates to a thick ring, thin layer, and excellent lacing. Nose of chocolate, deeply roasted malts, and sweet lactose. Flavors exceed the nose with dark roasted malts to the fore, dark moderately sweet cocoa to the middle, and sweet milk sugars to the back with moderate roasted notes all around. An EXCELLENT example of the style with a creamy mouth feel, medium carbonation, and a sweet lightly char touched finish. Satisfying and delicious.
NOTE: This brew per the website and Jungle's is 4.9 and NOT 6.2.
Cheers

Great milk stout. Just enough lactose to make this beer very smooth and drinkable. Has a nice roastyness up front with a chocolate finish.

Appearance – Coca cola. Head is very thin and bubbly (could be a bad growler/keg)
Aroma – Coffee. Faint sugar and bubblegum smell.
Taste – Thin coffee, toffee, and chocolate.
Palate – Watery. Flat.
Overall – I like milk stouts and was slightly disappointed. It could be a bad pour. Still a fan of MadTree and would order this in a restaurant, but not as a growler.
