look - slightly dark copper color with a good film
smell - warm tropical fruit like pineapple mango passion fruit, slight caramel malt backbone
taste - after those delicious scents the taste isn't nearly as good. Still fruity with that passionfruit and all the rest of those fruit smells arent really there. It does have some of that citrus tang though
Feel - good medium body but lacking the carbonation and could use more, slightly flat
Overall - if you bumped up the carbonation i bet this beer would be WAY better. Really easy going and almost comes out syrupy due to the lack of carbonation. Great scent and pretty good taste though.

Caught somewhere between IPA and sour ale, the mad brewers at MadTree roll out a hazy IPA with a double dosing of late addition hops and copious amounts of passionfruit for complexity, tartness and an exotic, tropical flare.
Deep and ruddy bronze, Orators speaks to the eye with a frothy, loose foam cap and then sweet talks the senses with a tangy scent of tropical fruit punch. Herbal, citrusy and racy, a nearly sangria scent radiates from the glass. Early sweetness is woven of cobbler-like fruitiness with hints of croissant, taffy and light caramel entices the tastebuds.
As the ale washes the middle palate, its juicy fruitiness overcomes any lingering malts and teases the sense of taste with the natural acidity of passionfruit. A quick backdrop of hops reveal grapefruit, orange peel, lime and then more tropical flavors of pineapple, mango and gooseberry. Trending reasonably bitter on the late palate, the taste of black tea, pepper and cedar resins balance both the fruit and the fledgling sweetness.
Medium bodied, fruity and drying, the ale's tartness, sprucy alcohol and bitter resins all suggest a dry and drinkable session, but a linger of fruit juices and stubborn bready malts have the beer trending in a fuller body, more succulent and fuller flavored ale. A long linger of tropical fruit rinds extend with peppery bitterness into a long lasting aftertaste, leaving the beer caught somewhere between West Coast IPA, fruit beer and New England styled beer- all with a sour fruit influence.

16 FL OZ can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass
This beer pours an almost tea color and hazy. I thought it was oxidized, but other pictures online were darker, too. It is topped with two inches of tan head that leave some decent lacing.
The smell is passionfruit, but it is not as in your face as other passionfruit beers. I get some tropical fruit notes as well.
It tastes like a passionfruit ale. There is some tropical fruit in the finish and aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel
Passionfruit is not my favorite adjunct. I keep trying to like it. This beer is not as assertive with passionfruit taste as others. It is a decent beer but far from elite. It was probably not worth the $17.50/4 pack pricetag.
