12 FL OZ can
Served in a MadTree snifter
This beer pours pale yellow with a slight haze. It is topped with an inch of off white head that leaves decent lacing.
The aroma is briny with cucumber and lime.
There is kind of a bitter, rind flavor. The cucumber and lime come through after that with a salty finish. The rind-y/bitter flavor persists throughout diminishing the drinking experience.
Thin bodied with a slightly dry finish.
I think it would be quite a refreshing beer without the bitter rind flavor. I might mix a can of this with a can of Green Zebra to see what happens. If you don't hear from me again that means disaster.

What flavors could be better designed for summer than cucumber and sourness? The cucumber berlinerweiss of MadTree is a sure fire hit to beat the heat and quench the thirst. That, at least, is the plan.
pouring a racy and hazy straw hue, Cucumbre showcases a heightened fruit character that teases the nose with the tartness of lime, lemon, melon, basil and fresh sliced cucumber. Nearly lemonade-like in taste, the early flavors of sourdough is sweet and bready.
Then a bold citrus character comes to the middle palate with the fresh zest, rind and pith of fruit while the strong herbal, green and bright flavors of cucumber swirl above. Trending exceedingly bitter, the finish goes well beyond hops and into the unnecessary and unsettled bite of lime peels.
Medium light on the palate, the beer isn't tart enough to be truly dry and refreshing but isn't sturdy enough to balance the fruit and vegetal bite. The brazen tannic astringency is a gullet shredder that renders the beer nearly undrinkable. Something went terribly wrong with the recipe formulation because MadTree is fully capable of a better cucumber sour ale than this.
