As the experimentation with Hazy IPA continues, it takes MadTree's Treesearch in a new and exotic direction. Lotus, Sabro, Citra and Cascade take this theorem in a citrusy, smooth, tropical direction.
TreeSearch No. 2 brings a translucent, golden peach pour, topped with a creamy, ivory lather. As the foam settles, a smooth scent of tropical fruit, citrus and herb teases the nose with its radiant and perfumy fragrance. As its malty undercurrent spills onto the tongue, a rich blend of shortcake, vanilla cream and cereal bring a smooth and bready sweetness to start things off.
Then the splash of hops govern a middle palate chocked full of mandarin orange, mango, red grapefruit, pineapple and peach. Retaining a smooth and malty balance, the hops turn gracefully into a sharper sprucy bitterness that invites the taste of cedar, parsley and lemongrass with a big tea-like presence.
Medium bodied and trending malty-dry, the finish is fruity and laced with fruit rinds, peels and leaf, trailing into a medium long bitterness of pine and pepper, redolent of the botanicals found in gin.

Look - hazy yellow golden tan color with great lacing and a slight head
Smell - Very tropical... pineapple mango coconut and some bready scents, probably from the wheat and oats
Taste - Slightly dank and juicy pineapple mango caramel dough taste with a very slight bitterness
Feel - Medium body and carbonation
Overall - really nice Hazy NE like IPA.
