My local brewer has created an Octoberfest beer that rivals those from a faraway land.... definitely tastes like a fine "Fest Bier" ... So happy my local Brewer could pull this off

Aroma of bread and caramel, touch of hops.
Taste follows the nose. Toasted bread, caramel, a kiss of hops.

Sampling a 12 oz can poured into my .5L dimple mug. Date stamp is 7/22/2022. Posting with part of the 2022 Oktoberfest tasting.
The beer pours a light amber to chestnut color with a fizzy khaki colored head of 1.5 cm foaming up. This foam fades to a thin edge layer and some wispy islands soon after the finish of the pour.
The aroma on the beer is a little bit of toasted bread, and then toffee and a bit of roasted grain, almost dark chocolate in the background. Maybe some floral hops too. No hint of ABV
First sip reveals a medium body with fine tingly carbonation. The carb rolls across my palate and the texture is smooth. Easy drinking on the physical notes.
Flavor is some light toffee and toasted bread mixing with again I get hints of chocolate in the background. there are also floral hop notes that kick in mid swallow. Finish lingers with a bit of toffee and floral note. Never any hints of ABV. Good marzen.

poured from a 12oz can into a willi becher pint glass. pours a copper color with a two finger sandy white foam head. lovely nose with dark pumpernickel bread notes and even a hint of caramel. taste follows and allows for the hops to shine just a bit more than the nose does. just a touch thin on the mouthfeel for me but better as it warms. this was really good!

Canned on date: 7/28/22. Looks the role of a Marzen, clean caramelized aroma. Malt forward taste with a finish that both has a bite, but smooth and easy finish. Left modest lacing and had a full texture as it went down. Recommend and will buy again.

12 ounce can, canned on 07.22.2021. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Another one that's been hid in the fridge for a while so it's my fault for not drinking it when it was fresher. Served in a Bengals pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat clear orange/amber color with not quite an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like toasted malt, caramel and some dried fruit. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some herbalness and grainy/bready malt flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, next fall I'll have to try it when it's fresh!

12 oz can, poured into a willi becher at ~40 degrees F.
L: Pours a deep autumn-clover honey amber, and forms 4+ fingers of off-white head with good retention.
S: Toasty bread, some faint nuttiness.
T: Toasted bread, croutons, and a nigh medicinal cherry-raisin note.
F: Thin for a marzen, watery breakdown by the swallow.
O: Not one of my favorites in this style, even for a US-brewed attempt.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little fest pours a chill
hazed amber with a nice head of white foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin dusty layer, and shows faint lacing. Nose of toasted malts, caramel,
light herbal hops. Flavors nail it for the style; toasted, malty, subtle balanced
herbal hops, light grain notes. Nice mouth feel; medium body, medium light
carbonation, and a balanced lightly dry finish.
Overall----excellent!
Cheers
