12 ounce can, canned on 03.29.2022, thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with about an inch and a half white head that stayed around for a while. Lots of lacing, too. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like lemon, honeydew melon, floral hops and some bready/grainy malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some stone fruit and grassy flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick, a bit creamy and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I thought it was a good overall brew, but would like to try this one fresher at some point.

Poured into a tall clear pint glass. Appearance is a hazy light golden color with more than a finger's worth of head. Good retention and lacing.
Aroma: citrus and floral notes, lemon, honeysuckle, cracker, bread, and fresh grass.
Tastes much like the aroma. Also tasting some melon, stone fruit, coconut, and grapefruit. Body is medium-light.

Pours a bright clean yellow. Scent is interesting notes of melon and rind. Taste corresponds, lots of melon here, notes of stone fruit. Never grows to sharp, even taste to the end. Very decent offering.

Has the right color and has haze. Nose was a bit like a citrusy sour, not sure if that is intentional or not. Wasn’t offensive. Head was thick and white. Great flavor.

The forecast for summer camp? ...hazy! And just look at that, there's a beer built for the occasion. MadTree looks at the greener, fruitier and more tropical influences of Strata, El Dorado and Idaho 7 to fuel a brighter and nearly tangy hop display on a New England-styled IPA.
Deep lemony to light gold, the matte veil that falls over Summer Camp Haze rests under and creamy white blanket of seafoam. A tangy green and fruity scent emits from the rim with under ripened citrus, tropical fruit and a host of gin-like botanicals in a radiant grassy perfume. Light in sweetness, a crisp cereal sweetness comes with lighter suggestions of honeysuckle and wafer early on the tongue.
As its taste opens up, the malt flavors lighten further and the hops blossom on the middle palate. Fruit flavors of green papaya, lemon, under-ripened mango, gooseberry, kiwi and passionfruit all add to a bright, green and almost-tangy fruitiness. Trending spicy with hops, a quick development toward bitterness leads to a pleasantly grassy, sprucy and matcha tea balance in a smooth bitterness.
Medium bodied and trending malty-dry, Summer Camp Haze finishes fresh and green with a firm hop spice. A candied fruit flavors persists in a medium length aftertaste of sweet fruit peels, green tea and lemongrass.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bright tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bold pineapple and mango fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer and I will get a 6pck if I see it again.

Canned on 4/20/21. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy pale yellowish golden; fluffy eggshell white head that fades leaving solid retention and sticky lacing. Some sediment/floaties. The aromas are floral along with a subtle blend of citrus and tropical fruit. Some crackers and fresh bread. Malts are there. The flavors are extremely clean, crisp and refreshing. Some grapefruit and lemon coming through along with some coconut. Lots of fresh grass. More crackers in the mix. Nice clean bitterness. It's not overly bitter, but it's solid for the style. Mild sweetness. Malts are there and do their thing, but almost take a backseat. Finishes on the drier side. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, smooth and slightly fluffy.
This is a nice "New England IPA". The aromas and flavors might not be extreme or bold, but the flavors are extremely clean, crisp and refreshing. The craftsmanship really takes this one to the next level. It's really fun to drink. It's perfect for the summer and the hotter weather. Well done.
