16.9 ounce bottle, the bottling date is smudged so I can only tell this was bottled sometime in 2021. Purchased at one of the Liquor Barns in Lexington, KY about a month or so ago. Served in a MadTree snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like bourbon, dark fruit, vanilla, roasted malt and some coffee. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some oak, molasses, nuts and dark chocolate flavors noticeable too. Good amount of barrel character in both the taste and aroma. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this barrel aged stout a lot, worth picking up if you're at a Liquor Barn!
