12oz can canned 3/28/22 into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
L: Pours a yeast hazed dark straw bright gold w/a massive 3+" off white soapy head w/excellent retention, lightly gushing carbonation, random webbing & lacing.
S: Berries, stone fruit, citrus, melon rind, guava, passion fruit, sweet bread. Rather tropical.
T: Grapefruit, white grape, melon rind, passion fruit, black tea, guava, orange, citrus rind, caramelized malts. A bitter tropical taste overall w/a light linger. Nice balance of fruit flavors. It is lightly earthy.
F: A lightly crisp, brisk & wet medium-light bodied mouthfeel w/a fast, clean finish.
O: A very easy drinking, quenching 6.9% ABV IPA with a more bitter & tart side of tropical fruits. It truly is a tropical trip in every sip and it is very good in it's style.

Copper color. Head was THICK that slowly faded and left a nice lacing. Nose was slightly citrusy and slightly piney. Taste was soft at first that gave way to a bitterness. Apricot flavors came forward and faded to bitterness as quickly as they arrived.

I got a 6pck of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had tropical fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with pineapple and apricot presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Everyday is a tropical vacation if MadTree brewers have their way. Regardless of the weather outside, the tastebuds enjoy a strong sense of island life with each and every sip of their tropical accented IPA.
Tropical PsycHOPathy's pale gold and burnish orange hues capture a similarly hazy fog as its non-tropical predecessors. Its juicy aromas tease the senses with a host of tropical, citrusy, herbal and grassy scents, leading with elevated pineapple and passionfruit. Supple in sweetness, a suggestion of caramel, graham cracker and faint honeysuckle roll onto the tastebuds for a balanced upstart and support.
But that balance is short as the sweetness fades and the dry tropical fruit character begins to rise on the middle palate. The pronounced taste of dried pineapple shares aspects of tangerine, passionfruit and mango, equipped with the peels, piths, pulp and leaves of each fruit. Resinous and bitter, the dry finish highlights the sprucy, grassy and chivy bitterness without much of a rival from malt.
Medium bodied and trending sharply dry, the beer's arid textures offer a high sense of drinkability and refreshment, but on the flip side it also exposes a hop and fruit derived astringency with an undeniable character of green, leafy, grassy and stemmy vegetation. Still, the tropical additions are welcomed but lingers with the taste of bitter perfume.
