A - Pours out a pale golden orange, mostly transparent with just a hint of haziness, a fat white head, fading quickly to an uneven cap, with massive lacing, clumps of small bubbles curtaining the glass.
S - A floral note, a bit of bitter wood, and sharp acidity, with a bit of funkiness beneath.
T - Follows the nose, with a subtle fruit note of lemony citrus, a moderate malt core suggesting honey and crackers, and earthiness beneath a bitter pith finish. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite hang together.
M - Brisk carbonation and moderate body, a dry, slightly taxing close that builds as the beer progresses.
O - The hop elements are different than the typical subgenres of the IPA, meaning the brew offers things I don't typically get. I wish the fruit was a bit more forward, and the finish less punishing, but still an interesting experience.
