This dry-hopped ale combines carmel and biscuit malt flavors in happy equilibrium with late addition American hops. The approachable balance is intentional although the name is "hoppy accident."

Pours a brilliantly clear copper color with a sudsy khaki colored head that provides a nice
cap on the beer.
The nose is led by toffee and caramel notes, and there’s some fruity hops as well, which is where the taste lands with the fruity hops more prominent on the taste. Delicious.
The mouthfeel is medium and crisp, fitttjr beer well. MadTree rocks, and this beer is another example of their prowess.

On tap at Madtree Parks and Rec. Into a pint glass.
Pours a deep mahogany with creamy white foam. Aroma is brown bread, some grapefruit and pine, generally good stuff. Flavor is similar, big grapefruit and pine notes and plenty of sourdough bread. I really like the malts, and while it's hoppy, it's still distinguishable as a classic amber ale. Finish is is dry and crisp. Feel is good, very easy to drink and quite refreshing. Higher body than I would've expected but in a good way.
Probably the most "craft beer" thing I've ever drank. Quite hoppy but still balanced and very enjoyable with good depth. It doesn't really reinvent the wheel, but amber ale can be hard to find, and this one is just very basically good.

Pours a clear amber with sopay head.
Smell is fruity and a bit sweet with notes of pine, caramel, red Non-Stop, citrus and black tea.
Taste is fruity and a bit sweet with a solid bitterness. Notes of red Non-Stop, caramel, pine, grapefruit, tea and peach.
Mouthfeel is medium, sticky and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice, potent amber ale.

As the name suggest Amber color. With a thick creamy off-white to tan head. Those is slightly multi. The flavor is outstanding late, malty and bready. Nice little bitterness on the back.

Good looking orange, amber color with white head that diminished within a mnute or so. Left moderate lacing. Aroma was a bit caramel with citrus dominating overall. Taste followed the aroma. I am personally not a fan of this hop influence, but it's not as strong as some IPA's. Feel was bitter, but smooth. Madtree had done better IMO.

Anytime my beer overflows upon opening (on no wrongdoing of my own) and I lose any more than a drop or two, it’s an instant fail, no matter how good the beer may be. Shame

In the 2023 beer advent calendar.
A gorgeous amber color with a frothy head that settles down nicely.
It is malty and there's something else going on-- nutmeg, maybe? However you pour it, pour another one for me. Yum.

Pours orangey-coppery-honeyey. Thick head that lasts.
Smells citrusy.
Tastes like an IPA but less so. Less grapefruity, but still hoppy. Bitter back end, more so than the smell and front end taste would suggest.
Good brew overall if you like hops.

The beer is a dark amber color with a medium-size off-white head.
Aroma of caramel and bread.
Taste of caramel, biscuit. Late hop bitterness.
Medium-bodied. The bitterness was unexpected.

Nice caramel and yeasty malt with an excess of bitter hops on the finish. The citrus is nice but the dank marijuana is overpowering on the nose and the taste.

12 oz. can dated 3/16/21
Pours a deep copper orange color with a huge long lasting rocky head. Beautiful
Aroma is caramel malt, bread crust and orange peel. The can says “ If it weren’t for autocorrect you’d be drinking hoppy amber” Much more hop character in the taste than the nose. Lots of citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, pine. Great caramel, bready backbone. Excellent brew. Would buy again
