On-tap at ManRock Brewing Company, Grover Beach, CA
A: The beer is clear dark amber in color an has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high dense white head that left a thin head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel malts are present in the nose along with a bit off toasted malts and notes of piney hops.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of caramel malts along with bits of toffee and toasted malts with bits of pine. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness. Hints of alcohol are noticeable in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is rather malty, but has enough hops to contribute some bitterness and masks any malty sweetness.
Serving type: on-tap
