A 330ml bottle with a BB of May 2017, so it's a little out of date. Given to me by my brother a while back, following a trip he took to Switzerland. The label describes it as an artisanal white beer with lees; ingredients include orange peel and coriander.

A: Poured into a tulip. Bottle conditioned. A very hazy pale gold hue with plenty of fine sediment and intense carbonation. Produces a massive head of fluffy white foam that lasts for several minutes before slowly reducing to a persistent surface layer. Slight lacing.

S: Aroma of fruity Belgian yeast with hints of yeast esters, light grainy malt, subtle barley sugar, a touch of spice, faint orange peel and a lingering earthiness. Fits the style - very nice.

T: Tastes of mildly fruity Belgian yeast with notes of yeast esters, grainy malt, earthiness, faint spice and a twinge of orange peel. Dry, with little bitterness to speak of.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and bone dry, with prickly carbonation and good body. Mildly astringent; dries the palate. Aftertaste of earthy yeast, mild fruitiness, light grain and a hint of spice.

O: Good brew - a solid take on the style. Looks fantastic, while the aroma and flavour nail the character. The spicing doesn't come through too strongly but perhaps that's for the best. Nice body. Light, tasty and goes down a treat; would be perfect on a hot day. Worth sampling if you have the chance.

330ml botttle serbed in an ordinary glass.

A: Pours a cloudy pale yellow to white color forming a big bubbled and aired white head. Good retention but only few lacings left in the glass

S: Standard Witbier: Sweet grains, wheat and spices. Strong notes of coriander and orange zest and some flowery hops

T: Slightly sweet upfront. Traditional notes of sweet pale malts, wheat and spices. Coriander and orange zest again. In overall, a dry taste with a nice hoppy bitterness in the end. Perhaps less sweet and more bitter than a classic Witbier. Bready yeasts, Belgian style

M: Light body and good carbonation. Watery and refreshing in the mouth. Aftertaste is brwady and spicy

O: Great drinkability. Smooth and pleasant as a Witbier should be
