Pint pours, straight from the breast, at the brewery. Says 10.5% ABV on the board, but in cans they say 9.5%. Either way, this is a big ole DIPA.
Pours aromatic, rich foam, slightly hazy solid gold.
Smell is distinct piney hops, mango, orange.
Taste is big bam boom! Citra Hop paradise. Fruity, boozy. Real good.
Feel is resinous, medium carb, a little bit oily.
Overall, OYA is a giant. And will knock you On Yo Ass is you’re not careful.
Come getcha pull!

Nice flavor. No kick back. Very nice but good flow.

Oranges, Pith, Warming, Bitter
From the amazing head that does not want to subside to the citrus bomb of an aroma this leads up to an epic brew. Massive orange party on the palate, smooth drinking all the way, and having the hop flavor be more a show than the bitterness elevates all. Perhaps the best use of Citra hops in a good while. Calling this a “whale” of an IPA is perhaps up to the beer geeks though this is nothing short of outstanding.
