L -- Nice dark beer. Not jet black like your favorite stouts, but still very good. Poured from a tap and gave a finger-thick light tan head.
S -- Definite chocolate out front. A little hop and malt behind.
T -- Bitter chocolate pervades, especially at the get go. As it warms up, the chocolate mellows out a bit and the flavor is quite enjoyable. A fair bit of hops in the background -- perhaps that adds to the bitterness at the beginning.
F -- Good carbonation, nice goldilocks zone feel.
O -- A good beer, though it wouldn't likely blow your socks off. You have to enjoy bitter and chocolate to get the most out of it, and definitely let it warm a bit. I had this at a festival and I had a difficult time picking up scents the whole day, so I'll be back to update if I have a chance to try it again.
