Look: It pours black with a dark brown head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has aromas of chocolate and roast with some whiskey elements in it. There are moderate levels of plums and prunes.
Taste: There is a balance between plums and roasted with chocolate malts. There are some low coffee flavors in the background.
Feel: It has a full body with a relatively sweet finish to it. The alcohol warming is pleasant and not hot.
Overall, it has some decent combinations of flavors, but a little on the sweet side.

I had this on draught in a bottle store. It poured a dark mahogany with a fluffy, khaki-colored head and lacing. It's a really attractive pour. This is one of the most aromatic stouts I've ever had: molasses, oak, chocolate, coffee, and bourbon. A wonderful aroma. The taste is absolutely decadent: lots of molasses, coffee, and chocolate, with a hint of vanilla, and a pervasive but mellow bourbon taste. It all works together really well. It has a chewy, creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and you can feel the 9.5% ABV. This stout is definitely a sipper. Overall, I was extremely impressed. This stout is well-crafted and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it.

On draught. Very dark with a light brown/tan head. First sip was thick and creamy with notes of milk chocolate. Oak added a nice touch and whisky was just right. Not overpowering. Certainly adds character. Some toasted marshmallow shined through. 9.5% ABV is well hidden. Well balanced. Very impressed.
