Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass. It is a dark, murky brown/mahogany with a half finger of thick, creamy, light khaki head and abundant lacing. The smell includes chocolate, coffee, bitter citrus, and floral hops. Its taste offers a nice balance of acidic coffee, char, and some balancing sweet chocolate notes. The Chinook and Centennial hops provide strong, biting bitterness throughout. This ale has a pleasing mouth feel: plush and creamy with appropriate carbonation, and the 7.7% ABV gives it a good punch. Overall, Eno Crow is a very solid and enjoyable Black IPA.
