Hand-pulled pint in The Coach House, a lovely country pub in the village of Keal Cotes, Lincolnshire: 9 Mar 2013.
Maris Otter Pale Malt and Crystal Malt with five different types of hops according to the brewery. The malts give the brew a pleasingly amber/golden colour and blended with the hops give a balanced beer taste and aroma. Uncomplicated and easy to drink. No strong flavours to pick up but a fine brew that showcases the subtle way British beers can be a delight without over usage of one single ingrediant or element.
Body depth about right: 4.3%ABV nicely contained and controlled.
