On tap at Wild Donkey Brewing Company in Redlands, CA.

Pours an opaque super dark brown with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa powder, roasted nut, and slight berry aromas. Taste is much the same with char, cocoa powder, roasted nut, and slight berry flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of roast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that has definite peanut butter and jelly qualities, but they aren't done all that well.

Serving type: on tap.
