A rather large brewpub with the main bar against the wall an additional big room to the left of that for private parties and spill over, a nice big patio with bench seating with open air garage door when weather permits, lots of choices on tap with many styles and different sized pours, parking can be a problem on weekends or a saints game. Waldmann brewery is right around the corner, liked this place and would revisit.

 

 

 

 

 

Great brewery in St. Paul. Nice selection of beers along with an awesome vibe. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

 

 

 

 

 

It was our first time there last weekend. Four of us friends went and we all agreed it was a great place. The parking situation was good. It was very festive with the big doors rolled up, the corn toss boards out, and the hamburger truck there. We will go back!

 

its funny that i was over in saint paul and it started absolutely pouring rain, so i thought, you know what, im not far from bad weather, and in i strolled! its a great place, they have a big patio, but it was soaked when i was there. they have a pretty substantial inside space too, with a long bar spanning the length of the building almost, the brew house in behind that, with a large floor filled with tables, lots of butts in seats when i was here on a weekday afternoon. they had a great selection, more than ten beers going, and a couple of new ones they were just trying out. the ipa and the gose were both really good, but i liked everything i had here. they were maybe a shade off the cutting edge in terms of innovation and overall quality, but they are offering a very solid product right now. service was incredible, i think everyone on staff mush have come around to see how i liked the beers and offer me tasters at one point or another, and they were all so humble and cool, not as common as you would hope in the industry i am afraid. great vibes all around in here, well made beer, and a certain welcoming sense of community that you do not find everywhere. one of my favorite brewery visits in the twin cities so far!

 

 

 

I went here a few weeks ago for my birthday. Unfortunately I got there at like 9:30 and it closes at 10pm (st. paul, come on!) on Wednesdays. It is winter right now so the patio wasn't open but that looked really cool, and they have garage doors that they probably open up when the weather is nice too so that would be really fun. They had a pretty cool bar and murals on the walls and just a really interesting place to hang out. I didn't have time to sample much of their beer but the Ominous was really good. They staff was friendly and fast. I'll definitely go again!

 

New (October 2015) brewery location occupies a huge space, an old automotive shop, with a definite garage vibe. The partially modernized space still has exposed ductwork and rafters, ribbed steel walls and massive glass garage doors. Feels like you're at a party in your rich buddy's pole barn! To keep things interesting, they have a slick dark wood bar, eclectic music selection playing, industrial metal chairs, a large sci-fi mural on a wall and some old arcade cabinets along the opposite wall.

Staff was cheerful and provided quick service. Impressive selection with 12 or so taps, 2 nitro taps and a cask, as well as a couple housemade sodas for purchase. Extremely kid-friendly - as a matter of fact I've never seen more families (with young and old alike) at any other brewery on a weekend afternoon.

You can bring your own food in, though they do have food trucks on weekends. In addition to arcades, they had board games. They have a serve-yourself water station with pint glasses - which is always a plus. They do growler fills of their own branded glass, only prefill though.

Beer was great, one or two were pretty middle-of-the-road, but most were fantastic. They always have something interesting on (fresh hops, rotating infusions, seasonals). Overall a great new addition to a city that could use some more places like this!

 

 

 

 

Definitely one of the nicer tap rooms in the twin cities. These guys brew beer that is consistently high quality and interesting. The variety is decent - There are a few hoppy beers and darker and spiced/infused ales as well. I look forward to seeing some lagers in the future.

 

Cool space in the new tap room in St. Paul, MN. Nice indoor and outdoor space (weather permitting). A good selection of beers on tap with some specials and always a couple offerings on nitro. No food, but food trucks are usually there during earlier evening hours. The late Friday night we were there the crowd was very young (early 20's) and the music was very bad (Beyonce, Brittney Spears, etc.). If they fix the music thing, it would be a much better vibe.

 

 

Great new place in St. Paul, close enough to downtown...big airy warehouse-chic space with old fire-truck-large garage doors that open up to the patio that looks out at 7th. Cool old reclaimed wood tables. Lots of games, kid-friendly (on a Saturday afternoon), friendly staff, really nice selection of about 10 different beers, including one on cask and one on nitro. Great addition to the east side of the metro.
