Tallboy can from local market.
Canned 9/14 so actually super fresh.
Discretion is a local brewery to me.
A: Amber, clear with white foam.
S: Authentic marzen smell. Malty and biscuity.
T: sweet and malty with some significant bitterness and/or toasty character. smooth & creamy.
M: smooth body & easy drinking.
Overall: appropriate to style. Not super impressed but not bad. Especially considering it’s a single tallboy, 6%+ abv, and reasonably priced. Worth trying.

Appearance - The beer poured a rusty color with a white head crowning the glass.
Smell - The beer had a great marzen nose, malts were plentiful.
Taste - The initial taste was toasty and a little acidic. The profile had the smooth creaminess of a lager.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation and lager yeast created a smooth body.
Overall - In terms of the style, this is solid.

Oktoberfest beer with Pilsner, Vienna and Munich malts 6.1 ABV. Great flavor color and taste, a very authentic Marzen beer. Way better than the Samual Adams.
