Appearance - The beer poured a rusty magenta color with a white head crowning the glass.
Smell - The beer had a light bourbon nose. I was somewhat surprised to not detect more sweetness.
Taste - The profile was composed of light bourbon and a touch of banana. The overall profile appeared comparatively weak for the style. The profile faded in the aftertaste fairly quickly.
Mouthfeel - Though still thin to a degree, there was some sticky yeast in the feel.
Overall - Everything about the beer was subtle.

A: Pours a clear copper with two fingers of beige head that recedes into a frothy ring with a little lacing.
S: Burnt sugar, caramel, and vanilla dominate with oak and bourbon along with notes of raisins and sweet bread.
T: Caramel, vanilla, and raisins up front along with oak, bourbon, and a sweet yeasty flavor. The finish has only a light alcohol burn.
M: Medium-thick body with lowish carbonation, this beer avoids being too sticky sweet but could use a little more carbonation to avoid being watery.
O: A pretty solid beer, overall. Nicely balanced without being overly sweet or boozy.

Good flavors, bourbon carried this beer in my opinion.
