On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow-gold with an off-white head. Aroma is faint, a couple swirls give off an almost corny character, which eventually fades and leaves a very middling malty smell with an afterthought of hops. Remnants fo the sweet citrus hoppiness of Uncle Dave’s are there in the flavor, but this is much more malt-forward. Pale malt especially, dry and biscuity, with just as much astringency as bitterness. Carbonation runs a bit too high and the finish is astringent.
