On-tap at Yellow Springs Brewery, Yellow Springs, OH
A: The beer is very dark reddish brown in color (close to being opaque when viewed from afar). It poured with a thin off white head that died down, leaving a thick collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of nutty malts are present in the nose along with some hints of chocolate malts.
T: The taste mostly follows the smell, except that the nutty flavors are a little stronger and there are also some hints of chocolate malts and hints of fruity yeast.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite easy to drink. It isn't a bad choice if you are looking for something light that has some flavors.
