10oz pour at Meadowlark Restaurant in Kettering. Served in a short stemmed globe glass.
Appearance: Pale gold - quite hazy and translucent. Thin white head with plenty of lacing.
Smell: Quite hoppy - fresh cut citrus and grapefruit.
Taste: Equally hoppy to the aroma. Citrus hops from start to finish, but not with a lot of malt to back it up. If there is wheat malt in here, I'm not tasting it. Tasty, but the wheat is lost among the hops.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, a little bit sticky, and a bit chewy. Here is the only place I can tell there is some wheat malt in this beer.
Overall / Drinkability: Reminds me of a hoppy session IPA, nothing special. I had this with chilled Thai noodle salad, and it paired nicely, but I don't think I would have another one nor get again. It's not a bad beer, its just unbalanced and the wheat aspect isn't there.

Appearance: Pours a hazy, pale amber.
Smell: Doesn't have a very strong aroma, but can get some of the citrus hops and some of the maltiness.
Taste: Citrus hoppiness/bitterness and some of the flavor you'll find in a typical wheat beer as well. Has kind of a tart, danky finish to it.
Mouthfeel: Light, crisp and has good carbonation.
Overall: I'm personally not a huge fan of the wheat style of brew, however I do generally like wheat beers more when that lean towards the hoppy side. This one was just ok for me, it doesn't really compare to the quality of a more established beer along the same line, like Three Floyds Gumballhead.
