The easy going surf rock of pale ales. This decidedly hoppy beer has a melody of fresh hop character led by tropical fruits, Pineapple and passionfruit, reminiscent of chilled out summer days. The lingering tropical hop and mellow malt flavours are the smooth finish to this Tropical Pale Ale

A gift from January 2025 that was drunk in April that year.
L: Hazy golden yellow in the glass with a frothy, bright-white head. Large bubbles move steadily up the glass.
S: The nose is a subtle melange of orange, pineapple, mandarin, mango and stonefruit.
T: The taste heads towards the nectarine/stone fruit side of the spectrum, with most of the citrus and pineapple from the nose largely absent in the taste profile. The end is dry and also a little thin.
M: The body of the beer is medium, with sherbety carbonation, suiting the stonefruit profile well.
O: The beer may have lost a bit of tropical sparkle by the time I got to it. The can has an indecipherable use-by date, so I have no idea how old it is. The beer I had was tasty and stonefruity, but not the tropical bomb it perhaps should have been based on the blurb on the can. Regardless, it was certainly an enjoyable beer.
Cheers!
