I disagree whole heartedly with the other reviewers I think this is a top notch Scottish ale.Come a deep amber tinged tawny color with a stick white head atop.Aromas of black marshmellows and roast. The flavors have a campfire toasted marshmellow and caramel notch upfront then some booze and coffee roast in the finish.I found this to be warming and not overly sweet and/or boozy.Really enjoyed this one.

On tap at the 2016 NCBMF.
Not a strong attempt at a Scottish ale, but no major flaws other than the malt load. .
Medium body.
Near equal parts bitter and sweet. A hint of smoke but no char.
