Bottle at El Pedal in Madrid. Cost was 3 euro.
7% ABV. 65 IBU.
Body is a murky dull brown - ugh. Billowing frothy head lasts easily 10 minutes, which makes up for it somewhat.
I get a hint of orange zest when I look for it, but it isn't overt. Malts (caramalt and pale) drown out the hops, which just isn't to style at all. Hop profile is subdued, but I get some generic floral character.
Medium-bodied, smooth, wet, well-carbonated.
Drinkable albeit forgettable. I wouldn't buy it again (especially at this price). A swing and a miss from the two breweries involved.

On tap at Bar Maquila. Lunch with David. With ox stew with imperial stout. Great. With a sweet touch that Ive loved. Would 't mind to have taken a pint if it werent because it has a too high ABV for working.

Semi-opaque ruby-brown pour, with a fluffy, dense light-tan head. Smells like orange zest, unripe fruit, rotten apples. Smooth texture, tastes like orange zest, a bit of pine hops, overripe apples and malty caramel. Medium body and a bitter-sweet aftertaste. This is a weird beer, with components that don't seem to go that well together, at first, but that somehow do, in the end.
