Bottle. Sensoric glass. Deep brown, almost black with huge beige head. Great retention. Medium lacing. The nice roasted malts aroma along with some dark fruits and light woody accents. The smell partly reminds me the wine BA beers. You can also feel some floral, citrus and herbal notes in the backgrouns. The bitterness is medium to high, definetely it's getting stronger from the middle of degustation. Medium body, smooth texture, high carbonation, Finish is long bitter and dry.

Color marró tirant a negre amb tons caoba.

Picked this up at Rosses I Torrades in Barcelona, Spain. Dark brown, nearly black pour with a creamy one finger beige head with great retention and crazy lacing. The nose is bold and resiny with hints of roasted malt, espresso, piney fresh hops, and licorice. The taste is just as bold with great balance between the roasty malt and resiny hops. Hints of pine, espresso, soy sauce, subtle dark chocolate, molasses, and brown bread. The mouthfeel is creamy with perfect carbonation, great balance, huge drinkability, and a smooth bittersweet finish. Overall, this is right up there with some of my favorite Black IPA's. Hugely flavorful and highly recommended!

On-tap. Shaker glass. Enjoyed at II Fira de Poblenou, Barcelona, on jul´13. Pitch black appearance. Headed by lasting, wide & creamy crown, beige in color. Roasted malt & resin aromas, hues of black bread & grain. Roasted & creamy malt upfront followed by sharp & involving bitterness touch by licorice notes. Medium to full body. Soft carbonation. Dense texture. Voluptuous & velvet palate rounded by woody hues & pine needles. Subtle spicy touch too. Dried nut astringency. Dry bitter finish. Burnt cocoa on the aftertaste. Delicious & refreshing. Nice drinkability since ABV is well masked.
