Good mahogany, creamy off white foam. Strong roasted pumpkin, nutmeg. Good malt spiciness, over roasted. Decent

A - A dark amber-brown ale with a light brown head.
S - Pumpkins, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg. Maybe a little lemon citrus.
T - Pumpkin, but not overpowering. The spices previously mentioned, but not overpowering. Big malt backbone stands up to the flavors added.
M - Medium-heavy body, smooth and creamy finish. Moderate carbonation.
O - I tend not to like this style. So many examples are spice bombs that are too heavy on the pumpkin flavor, which I'm not a big fan of anyways. In this case, however, I find the beer to be very nicely balanced. Finally, a pumpkin beer that doesn't feel like it has to hit you over the head with fall Thanksgiving flavors and spices.
