A- Pours a medium orange in color, with a pretty good sized head and good lacing. The body of beer is slightly hazy and effervescent.
S- The first thing that hits the nose is a strong maltiness and a fairly strong booze presence. A touch of pumpkin kicks in next, but it gone pretty quickly. The malts turn a little toward dark fruit as the scent leaves the nostrils.
T- This one starts out just like the smell, with a big dose of big malts up front followed up by a bit of boozey flavor. The malts dominate the drink and morph into some dark fruits at the end. Lingering flavor is the strong malts.
M- THis beer is thick and smooth with little detectable alcohol. The boozey flavor in the taste is really the alcohol that is to be found. Carbonation is low.
Overall, an interesting and not very pumpkin-y pumpkin themed beer. This drinks more true to the wheatwine style than a pumpkin beer. Worth drinking, but not really worth seeking out.
