A - hazy, orange-copper beer. Tiny head that doesn’t stick around. Medium carbonation
S - crusty bread malt backbone, grapefruit, stone fruit, woody hop smell, notes of mint
T - big citrus attack, with barely detectable stone fruit, because of the carbonation bite, followed by rich malt, fading to a big bitter finish and dryness in the mouth. A little bit of a blunt tool, but not uncharacteristic of style.
M - feels rich and filling in the mouth, carbonation doesn’t feel balanced as there’s not enough residual sweetness.
O - hard to ignore. Looks appetising, if light on head, smells welcoming, fills the mouth.. not untypical of style.. big, mouth filling, rich, bitter and dry. Doesn’t want to make me order another, as it feels filling and lacks subtlety or complexity. There’s little art here but quite enjoyable nevertheless
